Meals On Wheels

Volunteers delivering affordable, nutritious meals and providing social contact with community members.

Since 1973, Claremont Meals on Wheels has operated as a private, nonprofit, all-volunteer organization and community service.

We deliver nutritious, hot mid-day meals Monday through Friday (with Saturday meal, if ordered) to older homebound adults, persons with disabilities, those recovering from surgery, and other persons who have no alternative source of meals.

Volunteer teams pack meals in the Mt. San Antonio Gardens’ kitchen. A dietician plans menus, and diatetic meals are available. Volunteer Driversvisit and deliver up to 64 meals a day to clients in and around the city of Claremont. These teams include the over 120 volunteers who keep Claremont Meals on Wheels functioning smoothly throughout the year. For many of our clients, our volunteers are their most consistent link with the outside world.

We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and volunteers and financial contributors are the backbone of our programs.

Organizations linked below have provided support and/or grants to cover operational and subsidy expenses for the current fiscal year.
